With all the anxiety and undesired change surrounding the global coronavirus pandemic, it felt tactless to open this letter with "Happy Spring!" However, we do have a lot to be grateful for as we embrace the transition from the cold and dark winter to the bright, colorful, and exciting season of rebirth and fresh plans. We believe that it is okay - even necessary - to try and find joy even in scary times, and we ARE happy that it is spring! As we tend to our real soil gardens, we're also tending to the metaphorical garden within. We're doing our best to adjust to our new realities while pondering how we can nurture our spring chicken of a business and serve the community we have been growing together.

As you may know, we temporarily reduced our shop hours and have been spending more time at home. We're currently open to a limited number of customers at a time, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11-4ish (we usually tend to stick around because we like to be there:) We will be adding more hours as we feel more comfortable doing so. Since we won't be around each other in person as much, we accelerated the development of an online shop! If you're choosing to minimize public outings, prefer to pre-pay so you can do a quick grab-and-go, or simply live too far away to visit us, we invite you to shop remotely. We've added most of our products to the site (which is a super fun, not at all tedious task, LOL!), and we'll keep adding more as time goes on. The Vervain Collective seeks to support the infrastructure of the natural health community, and a big part of that is to spread the love of inquiry and learning. We must do so within the confines of state and federal regulations governing medical advice and product recommendations. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has been warning companies all across the country not to claim that they have the substances or products that can prevent, treat, or cure COVID-19. Staying on the safe side of the law is important to any reputable business, and is especially important in the plant medicine industry where there are diverse opinions and plenty of scrutiny. To support you as you do your own research and make informed choices about what you put in your body while we collectively live through a global pandemic, we have prepared a Quarantine Help website. This site shares knowledge we have gained about naturopathic wellness as well as a curated list of links to articles and podcasts. As we keep reading and listening and learning, we will update this living doc; please check back regularly! We make no claims about having the answers to COVID-19, and are sharing this educational tool to help you build your own skill sets. We hope it helps!
