About the event

Tum e Time Part 1: Creative Ways To Play With Your Baby

with Kimberly Lyons

$80, 4 sessions (May 11, 18, 25, & June 1, 11am-12pm)

Come explore the wonders of development! Designed for new parents and their babies one month to pre-crawling, you will learn baby yoga postures, singing, songs, sign language, developmental stages, infant massage, sensory and heuristic play. Lots of take home materials and catchy tunes included. This class offers a time to connect, relax and laugh with your baby and be social with other families.

It is important when playing with babies to allow them to see your facial expressions, watch how your mouth moves and clearly hear your words. Masks will be required in and around the Vervain/Roots main spaces, but not once you have settled into your classroom spot. If this is not comfortable to you, please know that Kim also offers this class online.

Who: This is a parent only class. One or two parents + baby (as we need to keep numbers low, please do not bring anyone else with you).

When: Tuesdays, May 11, 18, 25 and June 1 from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. (1 hour classes)

Advanced registration is required, no walk-ups for this series.

Cost: $80 (includes in class oil, handouts and video.)

Medical: You are responsible for checking in with your care providers to make sure that this is a class that is recommended for you and your baby. Please discuss any concerns you may have with your care providers before enrolling in this class.

What if you have to miss a class? Often families miss a class, planned or unplanned, but if you do, there is a handout packet which outlines each class (including songs, massage, yoga and other developmental thoughts) and a video that reviews the songs/American sign language that are taught each week. Plus you are always welcome to connect with Kim with any questions.

For more information about the content or online options go to her website.

Cancellation policy: 100% refund if canceling 1 week/7 days before first class begins. If you cancel with less than 7 days in advance or you do not show for a class, your class fee will be forfeited.
