With Sukoshi Rice

Thurs June 2, 530-630pm
We all carry beliefs from our past that inform our present. Often we are not even aware of what our subconscious holds, yet it can steer our lives and color our decisions. TAT is a gentle and effective way of uncovering and dissolving those beliefs so we can be happier and more present. This will be a group session. Please bring pen, paper and a bottle of water. You will learn the TAT pose and an easy way to use it on yourself, for yourself, for greater calmness and clarity.

Bio:
Sukoshi Rice, TAT Certified Pro, has spent the last fifty years studying and practicing approaches to wellness, both for herself and later, her clients. Starting as a teenager, she studied nutrition and the then radical notion that what we ate contributed to our health, subjecting her family to many cooking experiments. In the 1970s she traveled around the world, to Asia, Africa, Europe and Central America, learning from every culture she encountered. All those experiences, and more, are in her memoir Fried in a Hubcap and inform her children's books, the Reinaldo series. Sukoshi studied and taught hatha yoga for many years and follows an ancient meditation lineage. From 1985 to 2015 she practiced as a Licensed Massage Therapist, utilizing many different modalities in her practice, including traditional Reiki, Usui Shiki Ryoho. She considers TAT to be the least invasive and most effective form of stress & trauma relief she has encountered. As a teacher of both TAT and Reiki, her desire is to train people so they can help themselves, at home in their everyday lives. Both TAT and Reiki can be self administered to great effect and used as daily self care. Sukoshi moved from NC to Boise 18 months ago to be near her sons. She is the author of three published books.
