Qi gong, an ancient Chinese healing art involving meditation, controlled breathing, and movement exercises, will be taught on a rotating basis by Dr. Jackie Schrempp, MND, LAc & Lauren Howell, LAc!
Bios:
Dr. Jackie Schrempp is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor and Acupuncturist in Idaho. She studied at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR to earn her Naturopathic Doctor degree and Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. While in Portland, she studied under professor Heiner Fruehauf and is how she learned the lineage of Jinjing Gong Qigong. She currently lives in Kuna, Idaho with her husband and practices at Vitam Modern Integrative Health in Boise. She is passionate about Natural and Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, hydrotherapy, specific nutrition, physical medicine and shifting chronic disease. She is beyond grateful to work with her patients to assist them in reaching their health goals. She loves being in nature with her husband and friends, backpacking, hiking, skiing, playing with her nieces, nephews & dogs, playing in the dirt and dancing.
With a Bachelor of Science in Herbal Science and a Masters in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Lauren Howell integrates modalities from Eastern and Western Holistic traditions to support her patients’ unique healing journey. As an Acupuncturist, her treatments are multifaceted and multi-dimensional, using various diagnostic techniques, tools and techniques she addresses anything from pain, to a desire for more radiant skin. Knowing that Chinese Medicine is a reflection of nature and having a deep and profound trust in the healing power and balance of nature, Lauren is confident that she can support, treat and hold space for your unique healing journey. Qi gong has been a beautiful anchoring practice to embody these ancient teachings and move along the healing path. She is delighted and excited to share this multidimensional practice with you to bring breath, intention, movement and healing together in a shared sacred space.
