About the event
Vervain is excited to be a part of the Boise River Rewilding Project! We have adopted a plot that we will care for over 2 years. We'll have about 10 work sessions and need about 6-10 volunteers each time. We'll weed out invasive species, plant native riparian species, water, and nurture the space! This project is in partnership with the Golden Eagle Audubon Society, the City of Boise, and the Idaho Department of Parks and Rec. Join us!
WE ARE IN YEAR 2!!!
PROCEDURES:
We will meet at the parking lot up the path from the site (off Warm Springs, across from Pet Haven Lane). From there, we'll walk about 10 minutes down the path/Greenbelt to get to our site.
Bring your own: work gloves, sun protection, proper clothing, snacks/water, anything you need for personal comfort.
The program provides the tools and plants which Vervain will get to the site!
FREE TO JOIN - Just register and we'll have you sign the liability waiver!
